Join the Fair Share Farm CSA and enter into a relationship with the soil, climate and people that grow good food locally!
CSA builds community for farmers and eaters. Eaters pay for their share of produce in advance of the growing season, thereby protecting the farm from the erratic nature of weather and market forces. In return, the farm provides weekly shares of fresh, seasonal, chemical-free vegetables, fruits, and herbs to the member families.
We believe that good food should be accessible to all! If you are able, we encourage you to pay at the higher end of the sliding scale so that others can pay at the lower end. The farm takes the middle amount for all shares and donates produce to area food pantries with any money leftover.
Veggie Shares consist of an assortment of seasonal produce from the farm. Here are a few examples:
Spring: butterhead lettuce, red leaf lettuce, Swiss chard, red radishes, green onions, fresh dill or cilantro, strawberries.
Summer: tomatoes, sweet peppers, cucumbers, zucchini, potatoes, garlic, cabbage, basil.
Fall: lettuce, sweet potatoes, turnips, kale, red onions, beets, carrots, sage.
